THE ARROGANT MAN
God has given all of His creation the free gift of life, and how do we thank Him? By questioning His every move; when did we become so smart that we would even dare to challenge the omniscience of an all wise God? Did we create the planet from nothing? Did we place the moon, sun and stars in their perfect place? Who keeps your heat beating as you sleep, is it you? certainly not. And so what is man that he would be so foolish as to even entertain the thought of questioning God in any area of His sovereign will and good pleasure? Man should be thankful that God does not open up the earth beneath their feet allowing the very soil from which they were created to swallow them up this very moment as they dare to question their maker. Be still and know that He is God lest He cause your feet to slip from the dangerous ground that you have dared to tread.

THE FAULTLESS ONE
WHO WILL FIND FAULT WITH GOD? WHO WILL HOLD CHRIST TO ACCOUNT? WILL YOU INDEED STAND BEFORE THE INFINITELY WISE GOD AND CHALLENGE HIS AUTHORITY WITH YOUR QUESTIONS SHROUDED IN IGNORANCE. WHAT PRIDE, WHAT ARROGANCE TO THINK THAT WE KNOW BETTER THAN HE. IT IS BETTER TO PLACE OUR HAND OVER OUR MOUTH, TO BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD!

ROADBLOCK TO BELIEF
What prevents man from believing in the, Lord Jesus Christ? The simple answer is Sin;The bible tells us that Gods arm is not too short that He cannot save us nor is there deafness in His hearing that He cannot hear us, but it is our sin that separates from our God and it is because of sin that God will not hear us. The removal of sin is by far man's greatest need, and that is why you will often find Jesus saying, son or daughter your sins are forgiven you, even before our Lord would ever perform a miracle that would lead to physical healing. Which leads me to my next point and that is this: many are looking for the removal of financial debt, but how many are looking for removal of sins? Many are looking for removal of disease but how many are looking for removal of sin? The Apostle spoke truth when he said "There is none good, no, not one; none seeks after God" Many seek after what God can give them, but how many seek after Christ Himself? Many desire the bread from the Master's table but how many desire the Master? With the removal of sin from the heart comes the removal of the dark cloud of God's wrath which hovers over every soul that comes into this world! Do not be deceived God will not be mocked, what a man sows he shall reap!

SEEING THE INVISIBLE
the people of faith, the people of the day, the people of the light, the people of Christ do not stumble, they are not caught off guard by the trappings, distractions and concerns of this world because they are focused upon Christ! They are intent, determined, and committed to knowing Christ; they strive in the furthering their experience of Christ’s love towards themselves, they are desirous of having their faith in Christ matured to perfection! That is what it is to see the light of Christ! to have your attention so captivated by Him that you don’t have time to be concerned with stumbling blocks of this crooked and perverse world.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CHRIST'S HOLINESS
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts: The whole earth is full of His glory! ISAIAH 6_3
This is the only characteristic of God that is mentioned three consecutive times.Nowhere in the bible does it say that God is good, good, good; mercy, mercy, mercy or love, love, love. The holiness of God is His greatest attribute. Whatever... we are to think of God must be filtered through the fact that He is holy; God is seperate from sin, seperate from sinners and seperate from the world and yet He desires to join Himself to the likes of you and me. But in order to do so it will cost Him the life of His Son and it will cost us our life as well. it will cost us a life of living in holiness, seperate from sin, sinneres and worldliness. Your Father in heaven is holy, therefore you are to be holy as well, even as He who called you is holy!

BEWARE OF THE WORLD
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2_15.
Here John the evangelist warns against loving the system of the world, which includes all of its politics, philosophies, sporting events and athletes, entertainment, singers, actors and the like. We are not to love the educational system which is of the world. All that the world stands for is not to be loved by those who claim to have professed loving allegiance and loyalty towards Christ.
Not only is John warning against love of the system, but he takes it one step further by warning against loving the things found in the world; riches, property, status in life, food, drink, celebration, family life, ect.. ect.. the list goes on and on, nevertheless these things and its system are not to be loved.
I (Jesus)will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler(the devil) of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14_30.
Love for the world and the things of the world is nothing less than idolatry, it is the worship of the devil, for he is the one who has perverted the world, it is his system and his toys that he uses to keep sinners enslaved to sin and blinded from Christ. If a person knows anything or anyone better than he or she knows Christ, then it is evidence that such a one is in love with the world and the things in the world. You are either in the world or in Christ, but not both; for the two are not inclusive but rather exclusive.
The evangelist is not a legalist, telling us in order to be saved we must start loving Christ more than the world, no, not at all. But what John is saying is that if one is saved, they will begin to love Christ more and more while loving the world less and less, proving that the love of the Father is within them.
And so beware, that a wicked heart of unbelief not be found in you! Examine yourself and make sure that you are of the faith!
